These boxes are so super easy to make, I love them!! You cut a piece of card stock to 6"x6" then score every 2" vertically and then again horizontally making a grid of nine 2" boxes. Fold the corner pieces in half, making them into two triangles that point in towards the center of the box when folded up. Punch holes in those corners and tie ribbon through to hold your box together. The pattern paper pieces are just 1 3/4" squares.

Snowflakes...holiday idea #1
After the kids and I put up the tree this weekend I thought some of the snowflake die cuts I got from Creative Cuts and More would look cute strung from the ceiling with fishing line. Since the fishing line is clear the snowflakes look like they are suspended in air. The kids love them, and how totally simple!

Another Dove
I love this swirly dove from Stampin' UP!, can ya tell?! I went with the gold and green combo here. Added a few little snowflakes in versa mark ink to the side of the card, kinda hard to see in the photo.
Getting ready for a stamp camp, so this is short...sorry. This week is going by SO fast. Thanks for stopping by!
Big Hugs!!

Its beginning to look a lot like....
Starting to make some Holiday cards for friends to order and for upcoming classes. Here is one of the half dozen I have made this weekend. Super simple, just embossed with gold EP on gold card stock. I then colored in the dove with a white Souffle pen. This is my favorite out of the ones I have made so far this season.
Hope you are all doing well...sorry I haven't been around as much as normal. Life has gotten busy with the boys school and working extra hours and trying to keep up with design teams. I think of you all often and truly appreciate all the comments. I look forward to the time when I can sit and check out your blogs as well.
Hugs,
Pam

lucky lucky me!!
The best b'day present EVER.....Copics!!! Oh my family (DH) loves me!!
This is me and my funky bunch. Al actually made me a chocolate cake and had the kids help decorate it....how totally sweet is that! He also made dinner, sent me flowers at work and....snuck over to my office took my car and detailed it. I am sure I had a strange look on my face when I came out to my car from work. "UM who stole my car and cleaned it inside and out". OH duh!!!
Anyway I had a super b'day and had so many wonderful wishes from family and friends as well all of my blogging and facebook friends. What a super start to my 36th year!! Thanks!!

A little box
Happy Hump Day!
This is the box I made for 3D Design Challenge this week. This simple little box is so super easy to make! I used Ballet Blue cardstock from SU, "Rustic Snowflakes" from Paper Trey Ink and some fuzzy glittery string. Check out the challenge and make one your self! You could win a super cool bag from Daily Window Products. Woo Hoo!!
Thanks for stopping by!

Popcorn Box
Here is a great box from Creative Cuts and More called a "Popcorn Box". I used stamps from Paper Trey Ink and used a couple of different techniques on it. The little white snowflakes were stamped using white craft ink then embossed with white EP. The snow at the bottom I used Stampin' UP! envelope glue. I smeared the glue across the bottom of the box then added white EP. Kind of a neat effect?! For the silver tag I smearing glue with my finger on a piece of white cardstock and added silver EP. After it had cooled I kissed Versa Mark pad right on top and added more Silver EP. Heat and set and repeated for a third time. As soon as I finished heating that third layer of EP I quickly took the snowflake stamped which was inked up with Versa Mark and pressed it into the center of the warm EP. Once the image was cool I used a circle punch to cut out the snowflake. Looks like a metal tag huh!?
Well today is Election Day here in the States, so I will be casting my vote. (2 more days till my b'day tee hee)
Hope all of you who are able to do the same! I will be so glad when the political advertisements will be over with!
Have a super day!!

NO WAY...a FCF!!
OMG are you totally shocked that I have a Friday Card Flick this week! Seems like it has been forever since I posted one...sorry it has been so long. The video that should have been posted two weeks ago was somehow lost while downloading. I had made that movie for Duff Goldman's Mom, Jackie. She had contacted me after reading my post about the show "Ace Of Cakes" inspiring me. I thought that was so awesome of her and it really made me feel special. Sorry about the movie Jackie. Thanks again for the special note, you made my week!
This card was made using a Lisa Bearnson card kit that I received from Paper Crafts Magazine. Strange to have all of the pieces cut out and ready to assemble. Normally I am the one doing all the work for classes.
I thought the saying on this card was so appropriate for a good friend of mine. This person always makes me smile and I am so blessed and grateful to have them in my life! Hugs to you *wink*
I hope you all have a fun filled safe Halloween.
*If you do not see the video square on this post, here is the movie

PC Gourment
Paper Crafts Magazine has come out with a new book called PC Gourmet. This tag is so inspiring, just in time for making Halloween treats for school and friends! Enjoy ~Pam
Cheesy Garlic Drop Biscuits
Alisa Bangerter

Mix together dry ingredients. Cut in butter with pastry cutter until mixture is fine. Add cheese and mix well. Add milk and stir until just moistened. Drop by spoonfuls onto greased baking sheet. Sprinkle top with chopped dried or fresh chives if desired. Bake at 400 degrees for approx. 15 minutes.

Happy...
First of all I want to wish my DH a very happy birthday today! Poor guy has the day off and will be home alone. The kids and I will be gone most of the day, but maybe he will have fun relaxing with the dog. Happy Birthday Al!! xoxo
I made this card and the one I will post tomorrow as a make and take for the craft fair. I wanted to do something that was easy enough for beginners and it seemed to do the trick. I also stamped the envelope to match. NO Stress, which is a huge plus!
(should have take the picture on a colored background sorry...hope you can see it alright)
Alrighty, gotta run...busy busy once again. See ya tomorrow!!

Holiday Tins
Here are two tins that I did for the craft fair I worked this weekend. I wanted something super easy and quick for beginners, so this is what I came up with. Customers were able to make these for a $1.
I think I will make up the rest and use them for little favors.
I had a great time with my Mom, she helped me out with the show all weekend. Thanks Mom!!
I unfortunately didn't have time to get a movie ready, so I apologize. I will try my best to get one done for this Friday.
Hope you all had a great weekend! See you tomorrow.
*Edited: the tins are from Target and are in the Club Wed section by the favors. The tins come in a plastic round container and contain 20. I believe party stores carry these as well. The tins are small and maybe 2 1/2" inches in diameter. The scallop punch is from Stampin' UP! as well as the 1 3/8" circle punch and stamps used. Hope this helps!

A Halloween Treat
Over at 3D Design Challenge Carrie and I have been making nugget/match boxes. I dare you to go on over and make one for a chance to win a gift certificate to Penguin Pants Stamps.
This box can hold up to 10 nuggets, but I didn't have any on hand. So instead of nuggets I filled this box up with my very favorite (I blame you Jody) Peanut Butter M&M's...yummy! M&M's are always a good candy to fill up treat boxes since they come in about every color for every season. Obviously these are for Halloween with those nice shades of purple, green, orange and black. Unfortunately they won't be lasting long in this house.
Head on over to 3DDC and play along with me and Carrie, you won't be sorry!! Carrie's nugget box this week is so stinkin' cool, check it out!
Have a super day!!

Scrappy Orange Flower
I had a few scraps of orange card stock laying around so I thought I would try to make a flower. I just scrunched and turned every couple of scrunches then taped it together. I then added an adhesive button to the center to finish. I had this Chocolate Chip oval left over from my "Eat Cake" card, (from a couple of posts ago) and these two ends of ribbon from yesterdays card sitting around. So I guess you could say this is a completely scrappy card, made from all scraps! Groovy!
Tomorrow I will have some matchboxes AKA nugget boxes for you. Don't forget to play along with the "nugget box" challenge over at 3D Design Challenge. You have a chance at a gift certificate from Penguin Pants Stamps!!! You only have until tonight though to turn it in (9PM MST) so hurry and get your link posted over there!!
Have a super day!!

Thank You Friends.....I am back!
I am finally feeling more like myself, thank goodness! I really don't get sick too often, but when I do I really make a week of it...blahk!
I am so behind on making things to post. I only had about an hour or so to yesterday to make a couple of cards and this is one of them. Our wonderful (daycare provider) friend made me some yummy chicken noodle soup last week to help with my sore throat. Top priority for me was to get a thank you card done for her. I used Pocket Silhouettes from Stampin' UP! and some scraps I had laying around. I just weaved the scraps to make the pattern and stamped. Easy Peasy!!
Alrighty, gotta run. Thanks so much for stopping by. See ya tomorrow!

Winter Night
I don't usually CASE cards, typically when I try to do it the card usually ends up completely different anyway. When I saw Jan Tink's card I had to try it out and because it was so simple and elegant I didn't end up changing her design much. Take a look at Jan's design, she has fabulous instructions to go along with it as well. I just changed the colors to Almost Amethyst, Whisper White and Elegant Eggplant all from Stampin' UP! The stamp set is called "Season Of Friendship" and is also from Stampin' UP!
On another note, I have a special Friday Card Flick planned for this week. Some one special contacted me today, so I will be making a special card in honor of her and her sons.
See you tomorrow!!

Monday Monday....na na na na na na!
Did I get the song by the "Mamas and the Papas" stuck in your head? Another Monday already, Wow this weekend flew by, probably because I slept in both days. Fighting a sore throat and hoping that the extra sleep will keep it away.
I did get a couple of cards made on Saturday, how about you? Would love to hear what you accomplished for WCMD.
Yesterday, I was completely uninspired....so what did I do...watched "Ace Of Cakes". After a couple of episodes (re-runs that I had already seen) I went to my studio and whipped this French Fry box together. Funny how that show seems to get my creative juices flowing. I can hear Duff laughing right now. Aly my 3 year old daughter runs around screaming "Make it bigger make it badder make it AWESOME". LOL!
This French Fry Box die cut is from Creative Cuts and More in Bazzill Bling "Puppy Love" card stock. You can also buy card stock by the sheet from Creative Cuts and More so that you can easily match up your embellishments or layers to your die cut. I made my own leaves using "Emerald City" also Bazzill Bling. The flowers are Primas, the rhinestone brads and sentiment block is from Making Memories, the wire is from Stampin' UP! and last but not least the velvet ribbon is by and unknown...sorry. Gee what do you think I should put in this puppy? Of course the first thing that comes to my mind is chocolate. Up for suggestions though.
Have a super day and I will see ya tomorrow!!

ARGH....
No I am not a pirate, I am very disgusted with computers! Sitting here getting ready to start my post for my Friday Card Flick and my DH's computer dies. What does that mean...well he is the one who has all the space on his computer and the one who edits my movies for me. SO...this week's FCF is going to be delayed for a day. Guess it would be fitting to have a Card Flick on "World Card Making Day". Please plan on coming back tomorrow to check out how I pull a truffle out of a hat and , I do apologize for the delay.
Have a super day and I will see you tomorrow for my "World Make A Card Flick!!"

My Little Witch
My DD who is 3 years old and I went to a party supply store that is going out of business and found her a costume for Halloween this year. She was planning on being a Mermaid, but the only costume left in the store in her size was a Witch. Aly loved that the costume is not just black, but is also has a pink shiny design on it. Perfect! Plus it was only $5 can't beat that!!

Van Gogh...
...no its just me. LOL! When I stamped the images on the cover using "Halloween Hang Ups" from Penguin Pants it reminded me of Van Gogh's "Starry Night" painting. So I ran with it when I colored it in. Well it is no Van Gogh, but it is a Pam original and I am happy with it. Head on over to 3DDC for your downloadable template and make a cute little mini album like this using only a couple sheets of cardstock. I plan to fill up the pages in this album with Halloween photos from this year. I think my some of my relatives out of state would really enjoy a little album like this to see what my kids are up to. This album would make an awesome brag book for a holiday gift or a momento of a special occassion, like a 40th birthday party. Guess I better get busy making some more!
Come on what are you waiting for...
P.S.Don't forget any comments left here will put you in the Paper Crafts Magazine blog candy drawing coming up this Saturday, World Card Making Day!
P.S.S. Happy Birthday to my little Brother Dean!!! Love you and miss you!!!

Friday Card Flick " #1 Fan"
Happy Friday Everyone! The video pretty much explains it all. I made this for my Mom, because she has been "on the go" all week long vacationing with Family. I can't wait for her to get home, she is my best friend and I really missed her. SO...this card matches the earrings from yesterday as a welcome home gift.
This card uses Kristina Werner's template which you can find here, "Just So Sporty" & "What's In Your Tin 2" stamp sets from Gina K, designed by Melanie. The colors are Tangerine Tango, Whisper White & Night of Navy all from Stampin' UP! Which you can now purchase on-line through my link over there on my side bar!!
Have a great weekend!
*If you are having problems seeing this weeks video please check it out here
Just So Sporty Tin 2
I am looking forward to Thursdays now, because I get to showcase "Just So Sporty" for Melanie Muenchinger the designer of this stamp set and for Gina K Designs. Melanie is such a sweetie and asked me to be her Guest Designer for the a few weeks. This is week number two and for my project here I made a tin and earrings for my Mom, one of the biggest Denver Bronco fans here in Denver! She has been away for a week on vacation and I thought I would make her a little welcome home gift to wear when she gets home on Sunday, just in time for the game.
The tin is from Gina K as well as the stamp set "Whats In your Tin 2" which is also designed by Melanie. I used blue and orange, Bronco colors on the border. For the earrings I stamped the Jersey from "Just So Sporty" on Shrinkie Dink paper with Black Stazon ink, a blue and orange Sharpee markers. *Note the orange did run a little, will have to try something else next time. After I cut them out and baked them according to the manufacturers instructions I coated the jerseys with Crystal Effects to protect them. I took some earring hooks and put them through the hole I punched before baking. Voila! When she takes the earrings out she can put a chapstick, bandaids or other little treasures in the tin to keep in her purse, hence the "on the go"
Now go on over to Melanie's blog to see what else I have created!
Tomorrow another Friday Card Flick. This week I made a card to match the earring set here today for my Mom.
Thanks for stopping by!

3D Wednesday!
Here we go another 3D Wednesday and here is my project. Over at 3D Design Challenge you were challenged to make anything 3D that would fit in the clear front pocket of the Daily Window "Urban Tote Bag". I found this notebook at Target for only $2.49 and yes, it fits perfect into the pocket. I am always looking for a piece of paper to jot color combos or other inspiring thoughts onto. I added some rub-ons and felt letters to the cover to personalize it a bit more and voila! I would like to give credit to both Karie & Dawn, they inspired me to make this notebook. They each did a fabulous job creating one for this challenge as well. I love my crafty friends!!! Go check out all of the creations and be sure to play along next week when we have a new challenge!

Happy Fall Y'all!
Well yesterday was our first official day of Fall. Hey, better late then never to show off this Fall card. I used Tangerine Tango, Riding Hood Red & Chocolate Chip by Stampin' UP! for my color pallet, such pretty rich colors.
Sorry this is a short post. I still need to finish up a project or two and I am running out of time. Thanks so much for stopping by!
Hugs,
Pam

Cherish
Simple and elegant...don't you just love that combo?! Caardvarks is having a "Live & Let Die" challenge right now. What better time to pull out one of my new die cuts from Creative Cuts and More. I am loving this Antique Frame in Tacky Tape. I added Doodle Bug sprinkles glitter in this gorgeous coppery brown color to the frame and look at how sparkly it is...love it! I used Cream and Bronzeore cardstock also from Creative Cuts and More. You can now buy cardstock by the sheet at CC&M...sweet!! I stamped the sentiment which is from Stampin' UP! with Chocolate Chip ink and then punched it with a large oval punch. The ribbon is one of my favs from Target's Club Wed section. Took me like 3 minutes to put this together... easy peasy! It really shimmers and shines in real life, the picture just doesn't do it justice.

Dad
I won what I believe is the entire line of "Zach's Life" by Little Yellow Bicycle as part of my Gallery Idol prize. It is so nice to have some products that are "Boy" themed. So, to challenge myself since I have a hard time making masculine cards I came up with this. The reason it says "Dad" is because it was the only word that was short enough for me to use my "Big Deal Alphabet" set. LOL! I can always use a card for my Dad though or one for the kids to give to DH. I like how it turned out, not sure if it is completely "masculine", but hey I tried.
Anyone out there have a trick for Masculine cards, or can suggest a really good stamp set or paper line to use? I did just recieve "Just So Sporty" from Gina K designed by Melanie Muenchinger. I am sure this set will make some really good masculine cards. I have Wednesday off so hopefully I will be getting this new set all inked up and create lots of masculine cards. I have 2 brothers, my DH, my Dad and one of my boys b'days all coming up in the next few months. Guess I better get busy!!
Thanks for stopping by and thanks for being so kind about my "hair pictures" yesterday LOL! See you tomorrow with a fun 3D Design Challenge Project for our Sponsor of the month, Daily Window Bags!
Monday, September 15, 2008
WOW Scary!
BOO! Wow is this hair scary or what?! Cat requested a picture of my "big hair" days and while this isn't as big as it got, it still looks kinda big to me now. Yep this is me back in 1987, my summer before high school (when my hair got bigger). OH those were the days! Young and full of the "I know EVERYTHING" attitude. I think one of the best summers of my life. Up till 2 AM slept till noon, go swimming, have pizza with friends and do it all over again the next day.
This was also my "Aquanet Summer" in case you can't tell. LOL! What music were you listening too back in 1987? Me...well Bon Jovi & Poison of course, hello we all had hairspray in common...ha ha! Plus I dug those long haired bad boys...tee hee! The picture to the right is me about half way through my Freshman year in high school. Love the eye makeup too...ooh scarry! No wonder why the boys didn't ask me out. LOL! Gee I am feeling old all of a sudden....time for the card.................
I used some Tangerine Tango (lovin' that new SU In Color) and basic black. It is hard to tell but I did use Certainly Celery craft ink on some of the framed stamped images which are from "What's In Your Tin 2" from Gina K. The little skeleton is from "Bitty Boos" which is a retired SU set. Love that little guy!

Taylors Cupcake Sketch Challenge #33
Just wanted to post a quickie here. I haven't done one of Taylor's Cupcake Challenge sketches in a while so here ya go! I used my "Jumping For Joy" from Gina K, illustrated by my Fav..Melanie! My DD got a kick out of this card, because she is learning about Circus animals in pre-school and she made a seal a few days ago with a ball on his nose. She thought the cupcake on this little guys nose was hilarious, but when you are 3 years old...lots of things are funny. LOL!
Sorry this is so short, have a TON to catch up on this weekend. Not too many more hours left in my day...bummer!
See you tomorrow and thanks as always for stopping by!

FCF "Angel"
The reason for this card today, is to honor my friend Jen. Poor girl has been through so much this summer. Check out her blog and you will understand what this Friday Card Flick is about.
I have to say that Jen is not alone in her love of the band which is featured in my FCF this week. I must confess I too have a thing for the 1980's "hair bands"...yes I was one of those "Aquanet Girls". This card and video was so much fun for me and brought back a lot of memories especially from the year 1987 the first time I ever heard of Poison! So get ready for a little Rock and Roll... 1980's "hair band" style.
P.S. I am not sure what happened to the rhinestones and stickles...I video taped that part, but they are missing from the video...hmmm strange!

Piece Of Cake!
Here they are...my bridal shower favors/centerpiece. The cake boxes and little leaves are from Creative Cuts and More and like I said earlier this week, their paper is so gorgeous! I chose two different shades of cream colored paper one is opal and the other is caramel. I will fill each box with some sort of treats, just not sure what yet...any suggestions? The top piece of cake is the only only that is stamped on and I used Fancy Pants stamps. I used SU
Chocolate Chip Craft ink then embossed with Iridescent Ice EP to give the faux chocolate layer a little shimmer. Of course this top piece is for the bride to take home. Hope she likes it.
Thanks for stopping by, see you tomorrow for another Friday Card Flick!!
*On a personal note I would like to wish a HAPPY 37th Anniversary to my wonderful Parents! Love you guys!!

3D Wednesday!
Here is another "One Sheet Box" for our challenge over at 3DDC. Go check out the gallery over there, all I can say is WOW! We had a great turn out and all of the entries were AWESOME. I am totally inspired now and want to make a house like Heidi's.
For my box/bag I altered the score lines to widen the box a bit so that I could fit some A2 sized cards in here as a gift set. Everything to make this bag is from Blue Hill, more of my prize package from Paper Crafts magazine.
Now if I can get into my studio today and start making some of those cake boxes. I will try to get at least one done to show you tomorrow.
Thanks for stopping by and as always, thanks for the sweet comments!

For the Bride to be
I have a bridal shower luncheon to go to next Monday, so I got one of these beautiful die cut (the dress is cut out of the front of the card, but I have the shape pushed through to take the photo here) card from Creative Cuts and More this weekend (it will be on their website SOON). Oh my goodness, this is some of their Stardream "Opal" metallic paper and it is so luscious! Seriously I can't believe how gorgeous this paper is in real life. The photo just doesn't do this paper justice. It's smooth and creamy, good enough to eat....yummy!
The little dress piece is a separate shape and this little gown is addictive to design. I had so much fun putting accents on it I was sad when it was finished....I wanted to make more dresses! The pearls and rhinestones are also from Creative Cuts and come in a cool little kit with a tool to help apply these little gems. They do not come with adhesive, so you would need to use diamond glaze or I just used Tombo clear glue and it worked great! I added some narrow white sating ribbon and tied a bow on the backside, then draped the ribbon down the sides. I tried to keep this simple. The bride is doesn't like a lot of fuss, so less is more.
I will be working on cake boxes also from CC&M, hopefully this week for the luncheon as a center piece. I will get a picture of those when I finish to share with you all. I got them in the same gorgeous paper in two different shades...woo hoo!
Tomorrow is 3D Wednesday, so stop back by to see my altered one sheet box and don't forget to get your entry in today. You have until 9PM MST or -7GST.
Thanks!!
