Holiday idea #2... Grid Box

These boxes are so super easy to make, I love them!! You cut a piece of card stock to 6"x6" then score every 2" vertically and then again horizontally making a grid of nine 2" boxes. Fold the corner pieces in half, making them into two triangles that point in towards the center of the box when folded up. Punch holes in those corners and tie ribbon through to hold your box together. The pattern paper pieces are just 1 3/4" squares.
I usually fill these boxes with candy, but a small ornament this time of year would be super cute. You could also change the dimensions to make the box bigger and put little lotions and other fun items inside.
Keep your ideas coming in, lets all share the great ideas we all have. Don't forget you have a chance at winning a fabulous Daily Window Product!!

Snowflakes...holiday idea #1

After the kids and I put up the tree this weekend I thought some of the snowflake die cuts I got from Creative Cuts and More would look cute strung from the ceiling with fishing line. Since the fishing line is clear the snowflakes look like they are suspended in air. The kids love them, and how totally simple!

Thank you to Dee for sending a super cute game idea, check it out! Another place to check out this month is 3D Design Challenge. Carrie and I will be posting fun holiday items over there as well.

Thanks for stopping by...remember if you leave an idea your name will be put in the holiday hat for a chance at a Daily Window Product!!

Holiday Candy Challenge!

It has taken me a while, but I think I am starting to feel that holiday spirit! Today we will be putting up the tree and decorating the house. (a week later then we normally do)
I had a little chat with my friend over at Daily Window Bags and she is offering up a very nice blog candy prize for me to give away here on my blog! SaWeeet! I am sure you all know how much I love Daily Window Bags and their wonderful products. A great idea for anyone on your shopping list this season.
So from now until December 31st I will post cards, quick gift ideas and fun treats. I want you to do the same and leave a comment with a link to your creation. Now we all celebrate different things this month, so your creation does not have to be just Christmas. If you have birthdays this month, share those ideas, heck show me your Valentine creations...the sky is the limit. You can enter as many times as you like and I will draw one name on New Years day. Lets spread the holiday cheer and some fun ideas with each other!!
Ready... set...create!!
