OK I can't count...
So the challenge that I have been working on is...14 stamped items within the month of February. Well hello I had three items before I started actually counting. So this card is really number 12, thank goodness because I was running out of items and time...yikes!
On this first card I used my Cricut to cut out the red wheel barrow. I just picked up this Easter stamp from my favorite Scrapping store, Scrapbook Destination. This stamp is from Stampendous, isn't the bunny the cutest! The designer paper is from Eye Lets Etc as well as the little flower eyelets. I added my own little grass creation to the bottom corner since the leg of the wheel barrow didn't quit come down low enough for my liking. This card measures 5 1/2" x 5 1/2".
For card number 13 I used the little bird stamp. Since this was the first time using this set the clear stamp didn't want to ink up. Finally I tried inking the stamp up with versa mark first and then added the blue. It helped a little, but I still had to fill the image in a bit with my marker. I stamped this on white and cut it out and added it with a dimensional. Does anyone have a solution that they could share as to how you get your new clear stamps to actually accept ink?? It is kinda frustrating when you get some new stamps and they don't work they just bead up the ink. Help!!
Well tonight is my big challenge. 1 more project to post for tomorrow. I am thinking it will be something simple as I have such a headache tonight. I have been having ear problems and have lost the hearing in my right ear. I am on heavy duty decongestants, which are starting (slowly) to work on my ear, but they give me a headache and make me feel awful. Lovely huh! So if my creation tomorrow isn't up to par, please forgive me. LOL! See ya tomorrow.

Hope you are feeling better soon! I love how you incorporated that cute stamp to fit inside the wheelbarrow...very creative and cute:)

Wonderful cards! Also, I use a good quality pencil eraser to use on my clear acrylic stamps before I ever ink them up. After I've gone over the whole stamp with it, I then clean it off just like I would after I've inked it and then it takes ink SO much better. Try that and see if it works for you! Hope that makes sense!
I rub mine on my stamp cleaner (which isn't all that clean) then wipe them on the drying side of the cleaner quite vigoriously and then they work really well.
Pretty card by the way that bird is so cute.
