Caard Core' Hop Day 3

Welcome back...hope you have all had a fantastic 3 days of hopping with us here a Caardvarks and Core'dinations. To start at the beginning today start here otherwise...on with the show...

Today's creation is another super easy card, the background piece is from Core'dinations white wash line, a pretty shade of pale pink. I embossed with the "Swiss Dots" Cuddle Bug folders then sanded so that pink shows through the white texture. I punched a square out of the top half of the card to make a window then framed it with a metal scalloped frame from Making Memories. The little elephant was punched out of some more Core'dination paper using a Martha Stewart punch. Add some pretty satin ribbon, round the corners & add some rub on letters to finish.

Thanks so much for stopping by, hope you will be back again!

Caardvarks & Core'dinations Blog Hop day 2

Welcome Caard Hoppers to day two! I am sure if you started from the beginning your mouth is watering from all of the creativity going on. If you came here first please head on over to Caardvarks to see all of the wonderful samples from the Core'dination design team, then make your way through the blog hop. Don't forget to leave a comment on each blog, become a follower/ subscriber and you might be the lucky winner of that fabulous Core'dinations prize package!! (Make sure you check out all the rules at the Caardvark's blog)

For my card today I made lollypop flowers in a rainbow of Core'dination colors. I used 3/4", 1" & a 1 1/2" circle punches to create the flowers. I crumbled up the circles to give them a little more texture on top of the great texture this paper already has. I pierced holes with a needle for the stems, then used a green marker to connect those holes (Faux stitching technique). I then added the flower tops with small white button brads from MM. Last step I stamped the sentiment which is from SU and VOILA.... an easy peasy colorful card. OH yeah I corner rounded the finished card...can't leave anything out now can we.
This card is an A7 ( 5" x 7"), which is a great size for those times when you need a whole lot of people to sign one card.

Now head on over to Stef's blog to see her fabulous creations!!

See you tomorrow for day 3!
