Shape up, our challenge theme this time around over Caardvarks. Just think of all the shapes you can make besides the basic square or standard rectangular cards we all do. It was really a nice change and challenge to create a card with a "shape" to it. My card today is really appropriate because it is suppose to hit 90 degrees here in Denver. An ice cream will be much needed this afternoon I am sure!
I created my card using the "Doodlebug Charms" Cricut cartridge. I liked the way the top of the ice cream looked, but the cone was a little off for me. SO...I make my own cone, scored it with my Scorpal and rubbed some barely banana craft ink across the embossing to help show off the texture. I then add the cone to the cream, fit it to a white card stock card. I added some little rhinestones and Ice Stickles from Creative Cuts and More a button and ribbon which are from SU and a little "Thank You" charm. Really pretty easy actually.
Now it is your turn, create a shape card...any shape and link your creation to the Mr. Linky section over at Caardvarks. You could win a 3 month subscription to SNR. Don't forget to check out all of the absolutely fabulous creations the rest of the Caardvarks Crew has created for this challenge...AMAZING and oh so inspiring!!
Thanks for looking.
