Thanks...I needed that!

I must have been craving Starbucks, because when I saw this apron card from Creative Cuts and More I thought it would be the perfect place to put a gift card. The card stock used here is from the Double Mates line, which means it is a darker shade on one side of the sheet and a lighter shade on the other. For this apron I punched out oval shaped pockets, actually pulled out my sewing machine and stitched all along the outer edges to hold the card together. I then added some eyelets, the SB logo, ribbon and Thickers for the sentiment. Oh and the SB gift card is mine and only has about .92 cents left on it LOL!
Thanks for looking

Fantasy

In March Caardvarks announced that on the 5th of each month they are opening up the challenge to not only card creations, but other paper crafting projects. I was really excited about this, because as most of you know I enjoy creating 3D projects as well as cards. So for our "Fantasy challenge" I have created a card and a dress box using die cuts from Creative Cuts and More.

The card uses "Double Mates" card stock which comes in a variety of colors, one side a darker shade then the other, great for this A2 circle window card.

The dress box, w
hich is typically used for wedding favors, I decorated to be a fairy box. I drew my own pattern for the wings and cut them out of vellum, to look light and well...fairy like.

Take a stab at the Fantasy challenge and you might be the lucky winner of
a $30 Gift Certificate from Two Spotted Dogs! You'll get to take a look around at their online store and choose from their past and current kits. Good Luck!!

~Pam

Wishes can come true!

My DH bought me a new photo cube to shoot my paper crafting goodies in. Well...I for some reason can't get the lighting right, actually it is probably the camera's settings. The cube is all lit up nicely and you would think that the pictures would turn out great, but no....they look grainy to me. I am sure it has to be the settings on my camera, which I have no clue where to begin. My photography classes in HS just aren't coming back to me. Guess I needed to make room for some other useless knowledge. LOL!
Hopefully I will have some time this weekend to mess around with it and figure it all out. In the meantime sorry for the picture quality.

This card actually has a large circle window in the front, which is hard to tell from the photo. This A2 Circle Window Card is from Creative Cuts and More and cut from "Double Mates" cardstock. Double Mates cardstock is a darker shade on one side and a lighter shade on the other. Great paper for window card or projects that you see both sides, the color here is called "Groovy Grape". For the cupcake I drew the image out on pattern paper and cut the pieces out. You might be seeing more of that fluffy cupcake top in the future. The sentiment is from Marcella K and is a sticker that I adhered to a seal from KI Memories. To give the card a little more texture I ran it through the cuttlebug with the Swiss Dots embossing envelope.
Have a fabulous weekend and check back soon, I have some fun news to announce!!
Hugs,
Pam
