Party Starters First EVER Cake Theme Contest!!

Jen and I are looking for some fresh, fun and funky cake themes to use for our Party Starters' Cakes. Themes for any occasion: birthdays, retirement, little kids, big kids, weddings, showers…you name it. We want something different, something really OUT there, we want a challenge!!!

Tell us what theme we should do our next cake in and if your idea is chosen we will send you one of our newest cake favor set for FREE! ***NOW since I am posting this on my personal blog and most of you are super crafty ladies I will make you a deal...If you are chosen as one of our winners and would prefer a set of our new cake favors plain to decorate yourself we will be happy to accomm0date. 7 Day Sketch Fest...ARE YOU READY!!!

Every day this week at 12:01 AM, PST, Caardvarks will publish a card sketch. You'll have until 7 AM PST the following morning to create your card and link us to it via Mr. Linky at the bottom of that post.

PRIZES
A group of prizes will be awarded to random Sketchfest entries including TWO of the same Studio Calico kits that were used in the Crew Caards, "Director's Cut", and this fabulous "LOLLIPOP GUILD" kit;


THE GRAND PRIZE
We are so excited to announce that we will be choosing a grand prize winner from the ones who complete all seven sketch challenges. The winner will be offered a position on the Caardvarks Crew Team for the new six-month term which begins November 1st! So...if you'd like to throw your name into the hat, be sure to complete all 7 challenges by the deadlines! At the end of Sketchfest, we'll ask you to email us to let us know you completed *all* of the challenges and we'll announce our new Crew Member by October 1st.


Sunday's SKETCH

Here is my take on the sketch. Everything I used was from Studio Calico, except for the card base which is SU Chocolate Chip cardstock. This was my first time playing with a Studio Calico kit and I loved it! Not to mention Heidi's fabulous sketch and she has one ready for everyday this week! So make sure you check all of the details at Caardvarks if you want a chance at some fun prizes AND a chance to be on the Caardvarks Crew!
