JustRite Blog Hop Day 1

Welcome Hoppers to day one of the JustRite Mega Font Hop! If you stopped here first please go over to the JustRite blog where are the fun begins! For those of you who have been hopping from the beginning hang in there we are almost finished. Can you even believe all of the fabulous font projects today? Tomorrow there will be even more, so make sure you check back in at the JustRite blog to see 28 more fantastic blogs.

I absolutely love JustRite's font stamps! There are limitless possibilities when it comes to using JustRite stamp sets and their fonts sets are no exception. I created one large stamp using 6 different stamp sets in 4 different fonts for my projects:

-Horizontal Wood Stamp "Impression size 1-3/8 x 3-1/2”

-Times New Roman 50 point

-Times New Roman 25 point

-Special Occasions 50 point

-Special Occasions 25 point

-Curlz 50 point

-Small Letter Set (a must have!)

As you can see in the photo I created the stamp by putting different Fall themed words randomly on the wood block in different fonts and sizes. This is a easy way that you can make fun pattern paper. The best part, JustRite is having a Font Sale! Receive 30% off font sets from September 17-24, 2009...how awesome is that! Just think of all of the fun stamps you can create.

For my little pumpkin basket I stamped each section either folding away sections or masking making sure not to overlap and stamp onto other sections. Once I completed the stamping I simply assembled the *"basket with handle". Edited to add:(This basket is a die cut from Creative Cuts and More) Easy Peasy! Wonder what I should fill this little basket with...candy is always good! Got any other different ideas for me??

The card I created to match the little basket was also super easy! I simply used the same stamp that I had created and stamped all over *"small tag #04". I think the way this tag is stamped it really makes a great focal point for the card. To finish off the project I added some Mustard ribbon, cute *mini leaves, a few buttons and some twine. Feels like Fall!

Don't forget to leave a comment, we have Mystery Blog Candy being given away! The Mystery is no-one knows which blog is the one that will be giving it away – nope not even us the designers! There are 3 Blog Candy prizes each day which will go to 3 random commenter's from three random designers blogs. So, to win some (JR Candy) go check out all the blogs, comment on as many as you can from the two day hop. You have until Sunday at noon EST to leave your comments. Good luck, the lucky winner may be YOU!!! You have 6 chances to win, check the JR blog on Sunday Evening to find out who the six lucky winners are!! Alrighty head on over to Karen Taylor's blog now and enjoy the rest of the hop!!! Thanks so much for stopping by!
